Hold a Food Drive for the Ada Mutch Food Pantry

ElderNet's Ada Mutch Food Pantry is always in need of non- perishable food donations.  Our supplies start to get lower as the Summer months approach so we are in greater need of food donations.  

1. Anyone can hold a food drive whether it be a family, school, business, church ect.
2. Decide how long your food drive will last.  Will it be a week, a month, ect. 
3. Create a donation collection box or boxes for people to place their donated food items in.
4. Advertise your food drive!  Create flyers, advertise on social media such as Facebook and Twitter, tell your friends.  Be sure to include all of the details such as how long the food drive will last, what times they can drop off food, the location of the food drop off, and the fact that it will be benefitting the Ada Mutch Food Pantry. 
5. You may want to include a list of food that the pantry is in need of.
6. Be sure to check for expiration dates!  We don't want to give anyone expired food.
